Chi-town is the new name of the restaurant on M-18 south of Prudenville. It should be a relaxing way to end the weekend! Information will be available soon and maps will be at the Friday Reunion.

Saturday, August 9 – 11am until 2pm – Road Trip and Picnic OR Golf Outing

ROAD TRIP: Meet at Kmart parking lot where we will consolidate vehicles and travel in a caravan to Reedsburg Dam for a Picnic (bring you own food and beverages.) The caravan will travel around the lake stopping at the Music Box site, Five Corners, Bischoff’s Farm, and the old High School and track. (Let’s do a walk around the track for old times!) Dress like Hippies in honor of Hip Hippie Hooray!

GOLF OUTING: If you are interested in a golf outing, please indicate that on the form. Sam will organize if there is interest. Cost about $20.

Saturday, August 9 – 4pm until ? – Class of 60s Reunion

At the home of Linda Sergeant Lyons and Larry Nagy just north of Prudenville. (Maps will be available at the Friday Reunion.) Class members of 1960-1970 come and share memories, talk, listen to great music, and have fun.  Contact Becky for more information.

We will be meeting at Chi-town for drinks at 6:00 and dinner shortly following. Everyone will order off the menu and pay for their own meal.

Fund Raiser: We will collect donations by check for HLHS groups that night and present to the organizations as a gift from the class of 1969. Contributions will collected for Bobcat Boosters (Athletics), Band Boosters (Music) or the Houghton Lake Public Library. If you can’t attend but want to contribute a donation, make out the check to the organization of your choice and mail to Sharon by July 25.

Hello, Everyone,

We are going to be at the Elks Club for our Friday dinner.  The Beachfront Hotel is next door.  Their phone is 989-202-4700. Their new rooms are updated at tripadvisor.com  new flats screens, beds, etc.

Our dinner will be catered.  I was thinking Prime rib and maybe sea bass or salmon?  Let me know, please, before I meet with our caterer to discuss a menu.  I will soon be twisting Sharon’s arm to help with details.
